Ecola State Park

The park features sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches, and the Oregon Coast Trail that is a 13 mile long meandering trail through the park. Many hiking trails are located throughout the park so bring a camera along to capture images of the massive western red cedars, beautiful green ferns, and red huckleberry throughout the trek. Delight in a peaceful walk through the trails where venturers hear the sounds of the ocean along the way. While hiking near Cannon Beach at the park stop by Smugglers Cove, known as “short sands,” and watch surfers hit the waves as this is a favorite local surfing destination.
