Fresh Food & Flowers Tuesdays at CB Farmer’s Market

280237image235On Tuesdays, now through September 27, guests and residents of Cannon Beach can shop in the afternoons at the Farmer’s Market.

Music and prepared food booths open starting at 1pm.  All other vendors are up and selling by 2pm, offering a wide variety of fresh produce, pasture-raised meat, organic cheeses, and hand-crafted artisan foods.   Fresh flowers are also available at the Tuesday afternoon market, which winds up each day at 5pm.

The Cannon Beach Farmers Market is located adjacent to  Cannon Beach City Hall, in the Midtown parking area at the intersection of Gower and Hemlock  It is about a 15-20 minute walk north from the inviting, ocean front rooms at the Tolovana Inn.



Tuesday Shopping Day at the Farmers’ Market in Cannon Beach

Local, fresh produce, Columbia River smoked salmon, pasture-raised meats, organic cheeses and hand-crafted artisan food products are just some of the wonderful delectable’s you can pick up on Tuesday afternoons at the Cannon Beach Farmers Market, star280237image235ting June 16.

The Cannon Beach Farmers Market is located in the City Hall parking lot. Vendor hours are 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with music, prepared food, and community booths opening at 1:00 p.m., Tuesdays through September 29. Besides providing fresh food to visitors and residents alike, the Tuesday weekly gathering is a fun community event.

Guests staying at the Tolovana Inn ocean front suites with full kitchens especially enjoy preparing and serving Oregon’s fresh, seasonal bounty.  And, gorgeous, cut flowers are also available to set a perfect summertime table.

Among the past vendors returning this summer season are Wine Shack, Fosse Farms Inc., Cannaan Hill Farm, Sweet Treats by George, Skamokawa Farmstead Creamery, Cannon Beach Sea Salt Co., Sea Level Bakery + Coffee and Kingfisher Farm. New product vendors are Esotico Pasta, Columbia River Smoked Salmon, Nature’s Wild Harvest, Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider and for family best friends,  the Portland Pet Food Company

Over in the prepared food department, O Falafel and Casa de Tamales are back and will be joined by newcomers Hello Waffle and Seaside Kombucha. Sleepy Monk will serve cold press coffee, available at Dough Dough Boys Bakery.

This year, a children’s program will be introduced, providing kids with a Famers Market Passport to track their attendance and activities.
