Field Trip Programs

Haystack Habitat
Learn about the birds and marine invertebrates that reside in Haystack Rock. The birds will arrive in the spring but leave at the end of summer. However, the marine invertebrates will stay year-round! There’s also so much to learn about the geology as well as the plants and algae in the area.
Tidepool etiquette is extremely important when you’re visiting or residing in the Cannon Beach area. You can learn how to stay safe and how to deal with tidepool through the Haystack Rock Awareness Program. You can also explore the Marine Garden Refuge as well!
