Cannon Beach Easter: Sunny Saturday, Egg Hunt & Sunrise Service
Saturday is expected to be sunny in Cannon Beach with a spring time high of 61 degrees!
Why not bring the family down to celebrate the end of spring break at Tolovana Inn? An ocean front suite or room is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy Easter traditions in Cannon Beach.
On Saturday, kids can join in the fun at the annual Easter egg hunt at the Sea Ranch RV Park Resort at 11 a.m. Kids will be divided into three age groups: 1-4 year-old; 5-7 year-old and 8-10 year-old, and each child must be accompanied by an adult. BYOB, too. That’s bring your own basket. Hundreds of eggs will be hidden on the grounds, with special prizes awarded to those who find golden prize eggs. There’s a good chance that they’ll see real bunnies hopping around resort, and kids can also visit the horses in adjacent stables.
On Sunday, all are welcome to attend a 6:30 am Sunrise Easter Service at Ecola State Park, rain or shine, led by Pastor David Robinson of the Cannon Beach Community Church. The congregation has conducted the service in the park for more than 20 years. The service will be conducted near the new overlook or in the adjacent pavilion if necessary. From 150-200 people observe Easter from this majestic spot each year. You can pick up a parking pass on site if you choose to attend the service.
The Cannon Beach Community Church also has a contemporary worship service in the church at 9am and a traditional service at 10:46.
Other Easter Sunday services in the community are at the Cannon Beach Bible Church at 10.45 am. Mass at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Arch Cape is at 9am with the Saturday night vigil at 8pm.
So hop over to Tolovana Inn to make memories!
